Bite your tongue Rory! The Robins are back around here too, but they aren’t blue.

Lew yes they do fly south. When you see one here in Feb. you know spring isn’t far behind. There are flocks of them here now!

Just check out the local convenience stores, seems someone’s always robin’ them, no matter what time of year.

Our robins are blue with the same little salmony colored breast that this one has.

He isn’t goose stepping; he’s dancing. I think he is happy he MADE it back.

CoyotyRobins are nice. The Starlings are annoying, and the Blue Jays.

Odeliasimone That sounds like Eastern Blue Birds to me.

The size is like a robin but the color is pure bluebird (as in my avatar and our state bird) even so: Welcome spring!

    It’s a bluebird. It’s not goose stepping, it’s robin/bluebird stepping!

sourthern OH here…robins often stay all year round because of our temperatures. They’re lovely birds with a red/burnt orange breast and a song that can’t be mistaken. Happy to see them. (I DO think the European robins are adorable–sorta like our titmice without the lovely colors.)
