Seriously?? There hasn’t been one decent thing on TV since the 80’s?? Not one, in all the shows that have come and gone in the last 30 years?? Surely (no…not Shirley), there’s been one or two that have had some merit??
I do love that I live in an area where I have four seasons, although I wish that Autumn and Spring were longer. I have certain TV shows that I enjoy and if a new show jogs my interest, I’ll give it a try. I love Masterpiece Theater on PBS, especially Downton Abbey and the mysteries.
Yup! I’ve been waiting for the new apples to come to the farmer’s market. That, and it’s fair and festival season here in Georgia. Lots of boiled peanuts, caramel apples and pork rinds!
Phew! I knew that there had to be something worth looking at on TV! Most often, I can usually find something that I want to see, either on the traditional networks or on the cable stations that often produce their own good shows (USA, TNT, TBS, AMC, A&E, etc.). And since they’ve all staggered their “seasons” differently, there seems to be a good variety at any given time.
And, there’s some rotten stuff out there, too! But, most of us are fortunate nowadays to have a lot of channels to choose from, unlike years ago, when it was just the Big 3 networks and the local PBS!
My vote for favorite show: The Big Bang Theory …..hands down! It’s the rare sitcom that makes me actually laugh out loud !!!!!

If it’s good and geek related, which includes programs on Science, Discovery or maybe a cartoon or anime, I’ll watch it. I will also watch SF, not always Syfy channel though. Most of their made for TV movies are bad, and not in a good way.
Poor mis-guided Rory! Network TV stinks for the most part. My favorite show “CSI Miami” was cancelled. Why I will never know. It was always in the top 20. Haven’t liked the original CSI since Wiliam Peterson and then Laurence Fishburne left, only one I like know is CSI NY with Gary Sinese. Love that guy! And my soap “Days of Our Lives” since I have watched since I was a kid. My one son and I watch a lot of Discovery, etc.And for those around here who know me, I LOVE SUMMER and sure will miss it!

With the exception of football season, the Food Network and TCM are my most watched stations during prime time.
