There was a TV movie ages ago — an “Afterschool Special,” IIRC — where a woman finds she’s carrying, IIRC, triplets when she wasn’t even planning on getting pregnant. In fact, the plot involved the hoops through which she’d jumped to keep from getting pregant. As one of her coworkers told her upon learning of her pregnancy, “It’s not nice to fool Mother Nature. That doesn’t mean she can’t put one over on you!”
