In college, I lived in a dorm. The hallways of my dorm had very bad echos and yelling to someone at the other end never worked. One night, a drunk resident yelled something to a group of us at one end of the hall as he was walking toward us. The only thing that was understood was the last word. It was “football”. Since then, it has become our response to something we don’t understand. Whew! A long explanation for my response. “Football?”
