    A great grandfather in law was sure that the second coming and the end of times was going to happen when 1900 rolled around. He didn’t plant any crops sat at the window looking east waiting for Jesus to come. I guess the end did come in a way. He lost the farm, the family was impoverished and hungry, and it took a decade to recover.
