I really was in a kind of funk, not seeing The Big Picture the last couple of days. I will be here often hoping to see you and other commenter friends, now and then. (Ok, truth be told, a like by @blueiris does make my day too)

I’m looking forward to seeing all the reruns.

I started re-reading from the beginning (again—I did this about 2 years ago when I first found you). I thought I’d do a month each weekend. If I were to compare the “look” of Lennie back then with how he appears now, I would say I like the current Lennie. Back then you looked a bit bad-tempered and grumpy. Now (although you have your moments) most of the time you are drawn as a likeable guy. Was there effort or thinking into how you “evolved” how you draw yourself. Or does it just flow from the brain to the hand to the paper?

I don’t get it. You retired but you’re still here . did you retire from playing music?

This is so great. I was just admiring my Homeslice calendar this morning. Along with cat drawing Lennie did on the envelope (which I kept)

I started reading the strip when it appeared in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. I’m not 100% sure if they picked it up from the very start.

Yes! An update from Big Picture. Looking forward to seeing “new” strips.

Just started reading this strip recently! Fell in love and said goodbye and now I get to travel back in time. Also get to dive into your art and music! Cool times ahead…

I didn’t realize until the reruns started, but I have been a fan nearly from the beginning! Yay me! Yay you. I have made sure that The Big Picture was one of the first cartoons I read every day.
