And a tax write-off somewhere in there, and some ‘glorification’, but it is all for a very worthy cause. Without fundraisers most charities and art organizations could not function. Thank you for the ‘Kids with Cancer’ event.
Any excuse to wear that Tux and backward Beret outfit. Perfect for your music and art sides as well. (I’m just jealous.) Remember, the fold in the Cummerbund face upward… to catch the ketchup dripping from the finger food. Probably why Cummerbunds are often red.

My step daughter was diagnosed with an optic glioma as an infant and the doctors said she probably wouldn’t live past 5
She was about 20 when I met my wife, and her cancer battle was long and very damaging to her physically
We lost her this last June, she lived to 34
I never met most of the amazing medical professionals that helped her live that long
I also wasn’t there yet when charitable organizations helped out financially, or took her on special trips and outings for kids with cancer
I am ever so grateful to all of those people I never knew or met

One of my former patients when she was at Tufts years ago (dental school) She thinks Lennie is cool. I cannot disagree.

Helping starving artists is a legitimate charitable pursuit!
