LADIES AND GENTLEMEN… assuming that the syndicate merger didn’t change the colorist on The Buckets, I’d like to introduce everyone to Joey Giardina. I have no doubt he took one look at today’s strip and swore quietly at me.

Good job Joey! Assuming of course, you were today’s colorist! ;-)

Joey did an excellent job on today’s colourings. The bright chaotic-ness of the first four panels and the subdued aftermath on the last. And Greg – like the way you have Sarah bringing Dogzilla back in. Was the dog ever so willing to be carried thus?

Dogzilla (or any dog) will only put up with such stuff when totally embarrassed by his own behavior. Piddle in the dining room two minutes after being brought back in the house? Run up to the neighbors dog barking while being called back by your owners- and then being bitten on the nose? Any embarrassment like that, and you can carry them however you want so long as you’re dropping them off next to the bed where they can crawl under and mull regret.
