Cool. Did he look evil? Or normal? Probably normal. (because that’s what all the neighbours say “but he looked so normal..” ..The one I did not get picked for was a guy charged with sexual assault, of children. As the charges were read, the pool’s mood changed from disinterest to dislike to a low growl. Yeah, our sheriff paced nervously in front of we 40-50 well behaved adults.

A convicted child molester would not want me on the jury during the penalty phase of the trial.

Alleged killer, please.

My ex-husband used to get out of jury duty by claiming that if the justice system indicted the defendant, then they must be guilty. Worked every time.

And that was just the prosecuting attorney!

Just caught up on yesterday’s comments; glad you like my screen name, Greg! It’s my dog’s name (we mostly just call her Callie), and I don’t know why her picture had disappeared as my avatar; I just re-set it. I’ll be sure to claim my bonus if I find my way to a convention where you are!

Bah. Anybody can be a killer if you make them mad enough. Some of the nicest people I met in jail were there for some pretty heinous offenses.
