What if we're all just robots and we just act out the programs we were given? By who? Who ever created us. Like God? I guess. But 'til you said that, I was thinking maybe some lonely guy with a bunch of robot kits.
I remember coming up with alternate explanations for reality a lot as a teenager. I’m still not entirely sure everyone I see isn’t an extra who disappears after their role has been played, that the universe isn’t some simulation run on an alien super computer to determine the result of some question that they have about their own universe, or that dreams or mirrors aren’t a portal into another universe in the multiverse.
I was very worried about running this cartoon. I thought it might irritate people, since it mentions God. I wondered if the editor would chuck it right back at me, saying there would be angry letters to the papers or something. Whattaya think? Was I over-thinking it?
@Greg CravensOh the horror, you used the capital ‘G’ word? The end is near; repent your sins. Watch as the 30 secs life span is viewed before your eyes. But then kids from your age probably thought the Dungeon Master was a god too.All is forgiven; now do a dance on camera and post on YouTube for repentance.
I am a Christian and KNOW the truth to the question posed in the strip; however, could care less what anyone else believes or thinks. Everyone has the right to believe or think how they want and as for getting upset about a comic strip my words to the world is “GET A LIFE” way more important issues in this world. The fact that I disagree with several people on here and in the world doesn’t disavow their opinions and/or beliefs.
I wonder what Toby is holding, and what he’s trying to do to it or with it?Sounds like Eddie has seen the Lost in Space episode in which humanoids were made, resembling Penny, Don and Judy. I don’t remember if the humanoid of Dr. Smith was in the same episode, but that humanoid was reduced to cosmic dust by ITS creator, played by a guest actor.

And that lonely guy would build a robot that extends it’s nose every time the robot made a false statement.

Boots – the alien super computer is wasting its time. “42” is the answer to life, the universe and everything.

The Toby robot has a few flaws…

A few churches I’ve attended suggest that God was a Lonely Guy and created us for company. As for the Robot Kits, DNA is kinda like a kit, isn’t it?
