I hate female bosses. If a man gets mad enough at you, he will destroy you. If a woman gets mad enough, she will destroy you socially. I’d rather be dead than out of work permanently.

Had a few female bosses, generally indistinguishable from male – some know what they are doing, many do not.

To quote some guy in one of the Muppet movies, “Peoples is peoples.”

Larry’s point of view:Managers may come and go, but minions are still needed to do the work. As long as the paycheck clears, just keep sending me work to do.

My current boss (female) will come into the office trailer (construction) and not say a dam- word to me. If she has anything to say, she’ll send it by e-mail. She’s only 12 feet from me! Also, when we get our paychecks, we have to sign the time cards and then give it to our supervisors and have them sign it. HER boss literally sits within 3 feet of her, and yet, she has ME come in, get her time card to hand to HER boss. Again, he’s THREE feet from her. When I send her an e-mail, it will literally take her all bloody day to respond to it. More than once I’ve had to re-forward it to her, just so I could get a freaking response. But if she sends me an e-mail, I am expected to respond to it within 5 minutes, if not sooner.

Best boss I ever had was a woman. Worst boss was too. Conclusion? It’s the person, not the gender.

I have had both male & female bosses. Some good. Some not so good. Some tyrants. Some teddy bears. I remember what a co-worker once said to our visiting Prez & VP – while our District Manager and ADMs were standing there with butterflies going psycho in their tummies “We are Webees. We be here when you come. We be here when you go. We be the ones that do all the work. We be the ones that just follow the orders. But we be still here when you go.” That company chewed up district managers (and sometimes the ADM’s) like they were candy. Some didn’t even make it through a full fiscal year.but webee there for 16 years before finding something else. :)

I have only had one female boss. I worked part-time during college (1970s) for Avis Car Rental at the local airport. She had eight college guys working for her. Part of our duties included going to her house and having sex with her. She was about 45 years old and HOT!!!

Best job I ever had.
