Nothing beats my Mom : Honey, the beard or me!

That was a good 40 years ago. Still happily married.

No worries, Larry. A little gray makes you look distinguished.

Practically the only time I’ve NOT had a beard in the 46 years, so far, we’ve been married, was while I was in the Army (drafted). I’ve shaved it all off a few times, but she always wants me to grow it back.

I’ve never seen my husband without his beard (unless you count pictures). His beard caught my attention when we first met. Only problem is the older he gets, the closer the beard creeps to his eyes. I’d rather he kept it trimmed more than he does, but he has a beard to save grooming time.

Sorry you had to shave it Larry.

Why is it that everyone has something to say but not one word of a compliment?!

I tried a beard once but my facial hair is so patchy that I looked like a maniac with mange. A mangiac??

I prefer guys to have beards. They look like men and not just old ‘boys.’
