Work... No! Coffee place. Yeeah. Coffee place. Arrived at Steve's house. Wh...? Where's my guitar? You forgot my guitar, stupid car! You're going the wrong way! I always take Elm Street to Mulberry! Turnaround! I cannot drive to the moon. Moon! Go get the kids. Bring 'em back here. Ok! And so, the first generation of self-driving cars are rolling on the roads today!

Perfect! Just how I imagined it would be if we had a self-driving car!

Love it, love it, love it. Especially the response to Mom saying to get the kids. Wish I could ever get such a simple answer when I ask for anything at my house.

Sound like a good day to be off the roads.

I agree Doc Toon. Although I could get a lot more done if I could send it to get the kids.

Eddie just cracks me up. Like Alice over on Cul de Sac, as a little kid he is so predictable.

Sometimes technology just doesn’t meet the needs of real life. People always talk about “flying cars” in the future. I worked for many years in an Auto-parts store, and after seeing what people do to cars on the ground, I would NEVER trust these people with a flying car.
I don’t know that self-driving cars would be quite as bad, but I would not be surprised if they were.

A self driving car would be great for me, I was in a 2 month coma a few years back and lost some of the fine motor control in my legs so I don’t trust myself at the wheel of a car (I can walk around but it almost feels like I’m dragging around a brick at the end of each leg). I depend on the bus and friends to get around, but a self driving car would be nice – if I could afford it.

I guess this means I’ll never get my long-promised jetpack.
