Just being a good dad is hard work…

Next time the kid leaves the house, he’ll be playing with it.

LOL with my parents the toy would already have had an “unforeseen” accident. or disappeared at best.

Next time, just tell him what the true meaning of Christmas is.

Many a noisy toy lost its ability to be obnoxious when my kids were little. The grandparents were good at giving those kind of toys.

My oldest step-daughter is blind, nearly deaf, and has a child-like mind

She loves loud toys

She has practically no sense of time

We are very lucky that the way our house is built, sound doesn’t travel well from her bedroom to ours

My brother had three or four toy cars with sirens. Too bad those sirens broke some day. (Our parents didn’t replace the batteries.)

You could just have easily gotten him a boom box or drum ser with the same results

Yes, Dad, stop the buying now or you could be buying those extra rounds online for a long time.

I’m a “grinch” when it’s summer. I hate it. And it lasts a heck of a lot longer than Christmas!
