Been there, done that. Realized years later that something I had done was wrong, but I didn’t think they were at the time. That doesn’t excuse the deed, but it may help explain it a bit. You do not always have the opportunity to apologize to those people you’ve wronged. If you can, making the apology is an achievement, and an investment in a better you as a person.
