Would work better with hydrogen. It’s more abundant, still lighter than air, and, unlike helium, it can be burned as fuel. Then again, burning your lift gas to run a combustion engine might not be such a good idea…

basically dad is inviting his kids to fill his gas tank with helium.
remember, these are all distractions to keep them from becoming unruly waiting for Christmas. Heaven help dad if they start experimenting!
That would give auto dealership finance departments a whole new meaning for the term “balloon payment”.
Use nitrous oxide. A few whiffs and you can fly without the car…
