“My First Book of Particle Physics”? For a six year old? Okkaaaaaaaayyy.
Wait until he gets to quarks and the strong force. “Okay. No really, you’re just making this up aren’t you?”
Sounds cosmic, little dude!
When he discovers or creates it he can name it whatever he wants. Some guy name tiny particles Quarks and gave them specific names…..shmelectrons is a good name!!
Peter Higgs had much the same conversation with his big brother.
I believe that is the particle that connects the Tooniverse to the Loonyverse
You make the discovery, you call it what you want…..
Put a bunch of shmelectrons together and you get maybe a shmemiel, or a shmimazel, or perhaps even a hashmenpfeffer incorporated… ☺
That’s an unexpectedly sage comment from Toby.
Physicist typically “discover”, but the Periodic table has been expanded with elements invented by physicists.
Keep reading it as schmeckletrons.
So he’s gonna be a cartoonist, cause that sounds like cartoon physics.
c’mon, Toby! don’t smoosh his dreams. :)
