To boldly go………………

It’s a guy thing.

“Double binary star.” Is he being redundant, or is there an established phenomenon wherein two binary star systems are in orbit around each other, making four stars in all?

… But tell me, did you sail across the sun?

Did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded

And that Heaven is overrated?

And tell me, did you fall for a shooting star?

One without a permanent scar, and did you miss me,

While you were looking for yourself out there?

My daughter put glow in the dark stickers on the ceiling in her room. The house has been sold, but as far as I know the stickers are still there.

Binary stars? So the stars have pronouns?

The moral is that now, you can’t send him to his room for punishment…..

My kids are all grown now, but for both of my daughters, I put up the glow in the dark stars for their own bedrooms. For the older at that time I only found a package that had various not particularly true to life designs, for the younger when she came of age I did the whole constellation thing with various size stars matching a little their night time magnitude (Orion, Big Dipper, Cassiopeia, etc), Years later she told me unasked that she really liked it and was glad I had done it. Made my day.
