The Professor: Today our group will continue our discussion of underlying themes in Homer's "Odyssey." What messages did you get out of one man's twenty years of wandering? The General: I'll tell you this...that Ulysses was shrewd! He used strategy to achieve his objectives! Boone: Ulysses' story is all about making wise choices in life and what happens when you do or don't. Evelyn: What I learned was that even 3,000 years ago, men would not stop and ask directions.
