    Hey folks!

This week is our first-ever ‘BIG TURKEY OF A FUND DRIVE”! If you like my comics and particular brand of comedy, you can show your support through a small donation. No pressure… Just thought I’d through it out there.

I have it under good authority that God will love you just a little more for your generosity, tho… So, you’d have that going for you.

    Thanks for reading, either way!

Here’s the link to read all about it: http://www.fakerockstar.com/funddrive/

I think everyone here ought to be old enough to know how to read the comments by people they want to hear from - and how to skip the comments by people they don’t want to hear from.

Reading what you don’t want to read, and then complaining to the rest of us about how wrong your choice was, is pretty boring. Unfortunately, it’s hard for the rest of us to ignore you if we don’t know anything about your posts yet.

Which brings me to my OnTopic part (yes, I do try to get there!) - the Professor probably needs to take a little of my advice himself! If he gave Dusty the silent treatment or avoided him pretty much completely (assuming that’s possible), he wouldn’t have to complain about Dusty for even one chapter. On the other hand, in real life we all take the good with the bad or vice versa, and I suspect the Professor finds Dusty amusing and heartfelt even while considering him an exasperating pain.

Everyone who reads comics at all is a little like the Professor in that way. If there were no tension within and between the characters, most of us would be bored right away, and the strip would flop.

So why shouldn’t the same be true of the Comments?
