    And here i thought we would lead into dusty proclaiming it wasn’t ‘real’ snow- why, nothing like what he’d seen back in the good old days… When… I don;t know, the radish men attacked. You know how he is.

    Last year all the local weather stations proclaimed a HUGE snowfall was coming. 6 inches or more (in southeast VA that’s a lot). Schools closed. Meetings were cancelled. Total snowfall 0. I saw 1 flurry.

    There’s always the opposite Saucy wherein you get unpredicted snow. My favorite line about that was from a guy who called up the local radio station after they said there’d be only flurries. He said “I’ve got 8 inches of flurries on my driveway and it’s flurrying so hard I can’t see across the street.”
