An interesting question (perhaps philosophy, perhaps literary analysis) is whether Corey Pandolph - raised in a small town in the wilderness - has a squirrel/chipmunk phobia, or just believes they’re diabolically un-foilable. Could be either one. Dave Barry pretty much proved over the years that squirrels cause him panic. Corey has never struck me as nearly so transparent as to where the limit is between actual angst and caricature of angst.

That ambiguity may be great for making readers think and preserving artist privacy. But plainly Corey doesn’t think any man should trust any squirrel for one minute.
