The Elderberries by Corey Pandolph and Phil Frank and Joe Troise for April 06, 2016
Transcript:
Professor: What's the American fascination with fireworks? Dusty: They're a long-standing summer tradition, Perfessor... Professor: A loud noise, a short explosion, and then all that fury lost in the ether... I just don't see the point. Dusty: I take it yer immune to th' charms of a certain Dr. Phil? Professor: If someone wanted central of this country, they'd need only to set off a prolonged fireworks display... we'd be forever distracted. Dusty: What's that, now? Boone: Throw in a NASCAR race and a new episode of 'American Idol,' and I bet we'd give up Guam and Puerto Rico without much of a fight... Dusty: Where's mah wallet?
