Found out something interesting. Apparently in Ontario, even though landlords say “no pets”, it’s not an enforceable rule. Condos are an exception, they can make and enforce such rules.

A feral cat CAN be socialized. It might take years, but it can be done.
I fed one at my old house for about 8 years before he finally let me touch him, twice, for a total of about 6 seconds.
