I think the guy may be considering how short a shelf life can be…
a couple of the books i have read lately have been a real crime, glad i got them at a used book store and only paid a dollar each for them
He should be able to read the mugger like a book and talk him out of this!
Too bad most libraries (at least in my area) seem to be “gun-free” zones, which just means only the criminals have guns. That mugger would have been real surprised to find his would-be victim not as defenseless as he expected.
This looks more like a murder mystery
Doesn’t look like there’s a silencer. Maybe a flag with “Bang!” printed over it is next since it’s in a library…
