While on a sports road trip, a friend of my son’s ate something at a restaurant that had undisclosed peanut in it. He was dead within half an hour. 17 years old, bright kid, good athlete..Maybe I should send this cartoon to his folks — I’m sure they’d get a huge laugh out of it.
There are approx. 100 people who work on the floor, and we have 2 refrigerators with a large sign indicating that someone on the floor has a fish allergy so no fish is allowed to be stored in the fridge. I can’t help but think that if I was the one who had an allergy to some type of food, I would bring my own lunch bag with a freezy pack, and not require 99 other people to no longer have a tuna sandwich for lunch.
Our youngest daughter has a severe peanut allergy; actually, it includes legumes of all types. Anyway, she will soon be 34 and we discovered the condition when she was just a few months old..We never imposed any conditions on anyone, nor does she. We just learned years ago to use caution and always carry an Epipen…
