No one mentioned Scientology. Where the celebrities are royalty and the rest are dirt. Someday I think the lid will finally blow off that bunch and we MAY find out the truth.
I personally think that everyone should do some study at some point in their lives in comparative religions. Understanding the religious beliefs of others, whether Christian, Muslim, New Age, Jainist, Jehovah’s Witness, atheist, Scientologist, or whatever, helps you to understand, communicate with them. Instead what we see more and more of these days is intolerance. Yes, I know the core beliefs of the above religions, and dozens more, and no, I don’t mind if someone posts their beliefs, regardless of which of the above it happens to be. Heck, I might learn something more about their beliefs, and they might even change my opinions. What I do mind is when some poster comes along, and shows personal animosity towards anyone with different beliefs than their own. Free discussion and tolerance is a good thing, and intolerance and censorship is bad, as far as I’m concerned.
Because they believe only 144,000 Christians will be chosen to enter the Kingdom of Heaven, it is fun to ask them if they are convinced they will be one of the few chosen and tell them your faith does not establish any limits..It frequently stops them in their tracks…

Religions are all “wacko” and “cults” when they are not the same as yours; even if your religion is no religion.
