I remember being 9 years old, at LAX when the moon landing happened. They had it on a TV in a bar. We went in and my mom was told I was not allowed in because I was not of legal age. After some discussion with mom, the bartender relented and allowed me in, saying it’s the moon landing, he will remember this for the rest of his life. Turns out the bartender was right.
We were up in the North Woods in Minnesota at a resort. The owner hooked up an an black-and-white TV, we attached as many coat hangers as needed to get a signal so we could see it.
