If we made the attempt to see the world as others see it there would be so much less friction in the world and a whole lot more understanding. It would require us to acknowledge the imperfections in our observations and to deal with the idea that perspective is invaluable / indispensable. And we are each unique and wonderful. Which is why I’ve always said, never criticize a person until you’ve walked a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you’re a mile away, AND you have their shoes.
