Lack of comments should give a message to Keith. Let it rest before somebody kills another cop.

@Caraporam I think Keith can say what he wants. He knows much better than I to be on the other side of this. As for getting a cop killed, the people that do it are the ones responsible – not the press, or cartoonists, or talking heads, or….

Personally, i wish that:1. Grand Juries were prohibited from having victims represented by local prosecutors who have a regular working relationship with the accused or the group in which that person belongs. It causes confluct of interest and then the person assigned to represent the victim does not do so.2. That people would stop assuming that a statement that all the evidence presented actually is all the evidence. For example, with a body double, markers, and multiple matching garments w the holes in the right places a jury can better see what the arm position of a shooting victim was.3. Speaking as someone who was a Neighborhood Watch Coordinator and Captain, and who for years worked closely with police, i would love to see cops who are unnessesarily violent fired, and ones who unnessesarily engage in extreme violence to wind up in jail. Good cops respect the rights of the public. Bad cops do not, and they also create situations which place good cops in danger. That particular minority ( bad cops) hurts everyone, including fellow officers.4. As a friend of multiple officers and a few chiefs i would like to see people, especially the press, stop pretending that the view of police unions is the view of all cops. I know a lot of police who are absolutely sickened by the NYC police union statements.5. Ditto that for some of the press. Certain papers and stations are trying to create conflict that does not exist between the mayor of NYC and the force, and between Baltimore County and NYC, again where it does not exist. Tgst is not reporting; it is rumor mongering.6. Finally, i wish to send THANKS to BOTH the peaceful demonstrators and the cops protecting the rights of those demonstrators, a number of whom happen to agree with the demonstrators, and kudos to those who realize that police are all individuals just like all the rest of us, and that in any group a range of opinions will exist.

So I guess I missed the undertone of the comic? My thoughts didn’t go to race or to the hands up theme. I saw it more as he has one of those cheater cars that park themselves. Parallel parking is a bit of a lost art that will never be mastered again with those cars. I prefer to see the goofy humor.

This is an interesting and thought provoking article on racial profiling of off duty black cops by other cops:
