I’m caught in a dilemma; I play five Lotto tickets, same numbers for years (once I hit 5-of-6: $3K). If I stop now, one will win the big prize: that’s a given.
But, since I play five tickets, and get advance draw for the two weekly drawings, I’m as much as admitting I don’t expect to win any given ticket/drawing, so why bother?
I guess it’s a combo of (1) and also the thrill of the hunt.
