Home Quarters and Builder’s Square built giant box stores across the street from each other. There wasn’t enough business to sustain themselves and price slashing meant neither made a profit. They merged and between the closeout sale saturating the market demand and the borrowed money costs, they both went under. Home Depot and Menards moved in to fill the void.

They also have motorized carts you can ride around in, if you don’t want to set foot in the place.
