When I was about six, someone showed me a “View Master” (if I remember the name right) I was amazed how cool everything looked and didn’t realize that 3-D was how normal things look to most people. It turned out I had a problem with one eye and only saw things flat, as if I had one eye closed. The 3-D device forced my brain to see with both eyes. Later, glasses were able to do the same thing for the rest of what I see.
