I was in a fancy restaurant when I still wore contacts. Couldn’t read up close with them, and it was too dark to read at arm’s length. The waiter saw me and handed me a little flashlight.
Never go to a restaurant where it is too dark to see the menu; you can’t see the food either and there is probably a reason for that.
