I guess we now know what Bumper would do if he ever caught a squirrel!
I had a similar experience last night, only mine was taking part in a bike race…

I had dog that caught a squirrel.. and then the squirrel bit the dogs tongue. Dog would not chase squirrels for a long time after that.
Twice in the past week, our dog has come in from outside with a frozen, dead squirrel. We don’t know where she is getting them from!
I thought that he caught a car. Then, he tried to bury it.
