Yay! At least ONE of the Sunday strips mentions Chanuka, which is tonight, as opposed to Christmas, which isn’t for a few more days.
That’s partially because The One Who Must Be Obeyed is Jewish… and puts more store in Christmas than even I do!
Why is it considered rude at worst, or at least contrarian, to ask why, if the Second Temple used oil lamps, they now use wax candles in a menorah?
Interesting use of the Hebrew letters. Nice. “Baruch atah prius?” indeed. LOL!!!
Roger: It’s all symbolism. I even saw aome LED menorahs online the other day.
