Oh, and starting today “Queen Victoria” is one of the strips included in the online version of the Washington Post’s free daily, “Express Night Out.” I’m flattered that now I’m actually sharing a publication’s comic page (even a virtual one) with Lio, Candorville, Pearls Before Swine, Non Sequitur, Argyle Sweater, and other classy strips.

I think Schrodinger would tell you that there is a (very) small, but finite, probability that at any moment “Garfield” might be hilarious. But then, ol’ Erwin probably never saw “Garfield.”
And even more good news! My novel “Mall Bats” just won the St. Martin’s Press “New Adult” novel competition! Doesn’t mean they’ll publish it, but it’s a step in the right direction. Plus more bragging rights.

Not quite as funny as Ricky from Trailer Park Boys’ knock-knock jokes….but those ones usually are profane.

I’m curious – is Barfly pronounced “BARF-lee” (as in “vomit”), or is he a “Bar Fly” as in “drunk”?

TheWildSow: Yes.

Wait, I get it now! Until such time as Pab gives a definitive answer, the cat is simultaneously both “BARF-lee” and “Bar Fly”!
That’s it – he’s a puking drunk!

I’d never considered the character’s name to be a quantum potentiality before. Nice.

Argyle Sweater?? Really?
Is this one of those “one of these things is not like the others” situations?
