It’s an interesting idea, but you’re encouraging the readers to skip the ads, too. I don’t think TPTB would be pleased.
Maybe if the reader jumped to another comic on the same day:
-if you think she will say, “Aaack!”, jump to Cathy
-if you think she will fall asleep, jump to Garfield
-if you think she will pass away, jump to Peanuts, Blondie, B.C., Andy Capp, Dennis the Menace… oh, wait: that’s if Pab passes away
