I get the “Olive/All of” the other Reindeer, but yeah, both the strip and I are drawing a blank somewhere.

I think Lord Melville is missing a speech balloon in the first panel. Otherwise, Vick’s “Of course,” has no context.

The book “Olive, the Other Reindeer” was made into a holiday special a few years ago. I’ve seen it at least twice. Really odd-looking animation style — not one I care for.

I read it to my students every year (better yet, they read it to me). This morning, the second speech balloon was MIA, rendering the punchline incomprehensible. (My joke was, both the strip and I were missing something.) Pab fixed it. Thank you, Pab!
