I used to use a shampoo that came in a tube like toothpaste, which was handy for traveling. They discontinued it. Now I use a big bottle with a pump. Fine for home, not so good for travel. Liquid hand soap used to be gooey, now it comes out as foam. I like the foam better. Products change over time, sometimes for the better, sometimes not. My laundry detergent used to be a liquid, now it comes in little packs I just throw in the washer. No more measuring. Dishwasher detergent likewise changed from liquid to packets. I like that better too.

my non liquid shampoo is the same bar-o-soap that I shower with. my wife gives me grief every time.

I get a round bar of shampoo from a store called Lush I like it better than liquid shampoo.
