And some will reduce your bill by 5 cents a bag in WI
In WI some stores reduce your total by 5 cents a bag for using them

I have gotten that discount for using my own bags in both Oregon and Alaska.
I get as many plastic bags as I can from my local markets. I then give them to our food pantry… lots of us do that, and it saves the food pantry a significant amount of money.
