Global Warming is a religion. It is not based in facts and scientific principles. I requires believers to accept only approved “evidence” and to reject data that does not support the belief.

You do not get to vote for the weather or any other physical property. Remember Al Gore is from Tennessee where they tried to legislate the value of PI=3.0 (for government calculations).

Six months after his indictment for extortion, bribery, and larceny, our beloved mayor will go to trial this week at the same time he crafts the city’s budget during court lunch breaks. Could someone from Chicago or Boston give us some pointers? The only reason we have our present governor is because the previous on went on a vacation the the federal pen. The mayor of another city joined him because he liked children too much. Another city mayor joined them over an accounting error. By the way, I’m from the “Corruption State”.

    Ajax4Hire, you’re full of it.

First of all, the story wasn’t about Tennessee, it was Alabama. Second of all, it was an April Fool’s joke (since you’re perpetuating it along with a self-serving liar’s twist, what does that make you?). See http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/805/did-a-state-legislature-once-pass-a-law-saying-pi-equals-3.

There was once a motion introduced into a state legislature to redefine Pi, but it was Indiana, not Tennessee or Alabama (see http://www.snopes.com/religion/pi.asp).

Right wingnuts - all misinformation all the time.
