Trees grow back. (Wizodd: You want, perhaps, 40 tons of seedlings? Just what is the correct ratio?)

You could enjoy a highly sophisticated and comfortable civilization on nothing but the natural, sustainable products of a forest. True, it would only support a tiny fraction of the human population we have now…but it could be argued that that, too, would be natural and sustainable. Oh, well.

The more potatoes we eat, the more potatoes will be grown. It’s the same with trees. If you really want to wipe out the forests, stop using paper. That way, all the forest lands become unprofitable and the corporations that own them will tear them down and replace them with something that earns a profit.

Hey, Frank up above from here. Love your name. Are you a new poster, cause I’d surely have noticed that great name if you had posted before! My face is scarlett from laughing.
