    Dogs wouldn’t do well with a vegetable diet. Their digestive system isn’t made to handle that. (even Dr. Oz knows that!)

    while dogs can live (not very happily) on a VEGETARIAN diet, cats must have meat to survive.

    I thought it was funny when my sister, who was a vegetarian at the time, bought chicken carcasses for her dogs to eat, since she knew raw, unprocessed meat was the best dog food. (She also pureed vegetables to give them the vegetable matter they needed in their diet.) The dogs loved it and were very healthy, but eventually she quit because it was too much hassle. But I guess all those chickens looked too good to her, since she’s back eating meat again!
