I had a Bull Mastiff that adopted a couch throw pillow, it often required washing due the excessive slobber. He would either lay in front of the washer and dryer until it was returned to him or he would come to me when the dryer stopped and insist that I immediately retrieve it for him. I miss him and his rather odd eccentric ways, as this was not the only one.
