You shudder to think what sort of life some dogs had before they were rescued. Maybe it’s a good thing they can’t talk. Most of us would have nightmares,

My little wiener dog (also a rescue) had been mauled by a larger dog (lost an eye) and was afraid of everything. The shelter would only place her in a home without children because she startled so easily and dog parks are definitely out. When we take her for a walk she won’t leave our block. And she is the best ever of the several dogs I’ve had.

God bless ’em all….

I don’t have the time or space this morning for all of the stories.I’ll just throw an AMEN to StelBel’s statement.

Hear, hear. Bless ’em all. And bless the folk who rescue them & give them the most important thing: love & care.

I rescued a one eyed Greyhound. She’s the sweetest girl ever! Like having a cat with really long legs!

Don’t forget the mistreated and abused rescue kitties, I have one now. Sweetest girl ever.
