    Can’t exactly count wind turbines. They’re grounded and stationary. Might as well include windmills then.

    The fatalities to birds from turbines is miniscule compared to that from cats, to say nothing of tall buildings and chemical agriculture. The Danish offshore wind farms’ service platforms are a favorite nesting site for gulls and cormorants, while most other birds consider them to be a single unit and simply fly around the whole array.

    rush.dianaYawn? Wake up and check the actual figures. Cats exceed skyscrapers, hunters, and raptors combined. Wind powered energy devices are beat lower only by balls in actual sporting events (single digits).
