Born in cages therefore they know no better. Hardly logical. You could say people who were born to poverty wouldn’t want to change their lives. Being free and taking a chance on a horrible death is better IMO than “living” as a prisoner. But I won’t change your opinion and you won’t change mine. Pity..

We have a cage with a globe of mesh wire around it, and the feed tube in the centre. Only the little birds can fit through the mesh.

Somehow nature handles the balance. Otherwise we would have only big birds.

Put up a satellite feeder. Only chickadees, finches, titmice and the like can get in.
