My last two dogs did that. The little one would scarf down his food, then turn around and bark at the door. Invariably, the older dog would run to see who was coming and little guy would eat the rest of his food.
Used to have birds fly into our picture window. Bought special stickers that are placed on the window that are see – through to humans but reflect light for birds. It works and they are not costlyNot one bird strike in 5 years
