You might start with washing your face after dinner.

Our pup likes to give my ear a love nibble during a cuddle session. I’ve noticed our other dogs occasionally doing it to each other in quiet moments. I figure it’s “I love you” in dogspeak!

I’ve been told that a dog “nibble” is actually their way of really kissing. It’s like saying “I love you so much I could have bitten you & didn’t”. What we call a ‘doggy kiss’ is just something they pick-up on that people like.Cats are the same way.

My dog licks my legs after I put cream on them. She also greets the cat by licking her on the nose after they’ve been apart for half a day. After she has breakfast or dinner, she comes up to me, sits down and when I bend over to pet her she softly licks my hand. I say “You’re welcome, Penny”. She has a very soft mouth.
